Chishui Danxia Tourist Area is located in Chishui City, Guizhou Province, which covers an area of over 36 sq km. The area consists of Great waterfall , Buddha Light Rock and Swallow Rock, featuring Danxia landforms, waterfalls, bamboo forests, and here is also the habitat for rare animals and plants. It is one of the world’s most typical and beautiful Danxia areas of ecological diversity featuring the best integration of mountains, waters and forests.

Known as “the best example of Danxia landforms in the world”, the Buddha Light Rock was formed as early as in the Jurassic and Cretaceous Periods.
