Mount Fanjing is located in the northeast of Tongren in Guizhou Province at an elevation of 2572 meters. It is the main peak of Wuling Mountains, the National Nature Reserve, and a member of Man and Biosphere Reserve of the United Nations.

The New Golden Summit is the most dangerous one of the three golden summits. It is also called the Red Clouds Golden Summit, which sounds like “Hong Yun” Golden Summit in Chinese.

有貴州第一名山之稱的梵淨山，天公有眼，那天天朗氣清，視野清晰，白雲大多數時間都在幫忙擋著刺熱的陽光，但揹著10多公斤的器材，攀上兩個陡峭的金頂，雙肩話俾我聽：真係好「金」。

梵淨山景區有兩個金頂，遙遙對望，左邊最高處是老金頂，又名月鏡山，海拔2494米；另一金頂名為紅雲金頂，一柱擎天，拔地而起，遊人就要沿著幾乎垂直、僅容一人的通道攀著鐵鏈登山。這一帶都是10億年前從海底冒出來的，周遭都是沉積岩。
