A thorough restoration of the tower takes place in 1962. With the great change in the Catholic Church in the sixties of the last century, the communion rails and also the benches at the front of the church for the Ursuline Sisters and the Carmelite Fathers disappear. The altar also comes out a bit so that the priest can face the church.
